We're going to go to the left-hand side and type in the word stock and you'll see right there: Stock Buying Power. We're going to come down to Customize gadget. We're going to do that by clicking on this menu icon. Both accounts actually come with a $100,000.Īs a stock trader, the first thing I'm going to want to do is add stock buying power to our account information field over here on the left. I'm going to go ahead and select the margin account and if you look over here on the left-hand side, you have $100,000 in buying power. With paperMoney, you get two different accounts here, two different account types: a margin account and an IRA account that you can test out trading in. To the right of that, we have our date and time and, to the right of that, we have our account selector. By default, paperMoney comes with a 20-minute delay. You will see that we are logged into simulated trading, and we are connected to the internet, and you can look over here that we do have partially delayed data.
